Nationals are more knowledgeable of their peoples' history, religion and political structure; therefore, less likely to unknowingly offend through ignorance or insensitivity.
3. Educationally Suited
Few National Leaders have an opportunity to receive formal ministerial training. Some have received very basic training in local Bible schools, or through brief Pastor's Conferences, or Correspondence courses.
4. Physically Safe
Nationals have adapted to the climate, disease, and diet that may prove troublesome for others. They relate better to physical needs than foreigners.
5. Socially Sympathetic
National leaders are more able to live on the same level as the people they minister to. They do not need to live apart from their own people with modern conveniences.
6. Politically Secure
As a citizen, Nationals have rights and privileges often not extended to foreigners. This gives them a better political platform to be vocal in their country. Without immigration, passports, visas, nationals often have freedom to preach and witness in ways others cannot.
7. Organizationally Simple
Westerners are often challenged by a different culture, where they tend to think from an industrialized and organizational worldview. Nationals can live, minister, and function on a far more basic level than a foreigner.
8. Politically Steadfast
Foreign missionaries average 35% total ministry time due to furloughs, recovery time, and yearly vacations. National pastors are "in the field" 24-7 ministering to their people.
9. Spiritually Strong
Nationals have a natural zeal and passion for the salvation of their people, an intensity seldom maintained by foreigners.
10. Economically Sound
Nationals can survive on as little as $100 a month. By contrast, foreign missionaries require $60,000 to $100,000 annually including all the costs.
2. Linguistically Superior
A National Minister knows the language and is able to communicate effectively. It can take a foreign missionary their first 4-year term to begin to learn the basics of a foreign language and a lifetime to become fluent.

The most important exercise in the success of this Ministry is prayer. An army of prayer warriors will produce an army of spiritual leaders which will produce the greatest harvest of souls in the history of Christianity.
You can personally be a part of R.H.E.M.A. International. We need Christians to go and assist with the teaching and encouragement of our R.H.E.M.A Institute students. There are also opportunities for Mission trips and Evangelistic campaigns.
